secondly, the amazing layout of the leaves, and the curiosity of the one yellow leaf, on a rug that (almost) seamlessly imitates a sandy beach, just superb.
this piece is simplistic, yet busy, and many many textures add to an image that personally, i think is one of your best photo's ever taken..
i keep expecting to see a tim hortons cup in your recent leaf series of photo's..
did you know its snowing in calgary today?!

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.
Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)

You're a great one for logic. I'm a great one for rushing in where angels fear to tread. We are both extremists. Reality has brought us somewhere in-between.

Not to fond of it in full view, the lighting seems a bit off...so does the white balance..hmm..i dunno...its really the whites that throw it off, they are more wheaty/yellowy -- as well as your skin tones. I think the lighting could have been more dramatic. I would have liked to see shadows and more of a low-key shot. This is kind of..balanced, but imo, it seems to give it very plain feeling. Maybe a stronger angle could help the composition in the overall sense.
Some little things are distracting in the image as well, such as your dress and how there's a little curve-up thing by your left shoulder. The different colour leaves make my eyes crazy when viewing the lower half. Try playing around in photoshop more with this one.
I am, however; liking the composition in a more statstic sense. The reds are the main focus of the image at first glance, then your brought to your body, then to your arm, and then to the yellow leaf which makes your eye wander around the other leaves. As I said before, the reds are great. Nice job.
